Meet the Experts Behind Zeuli Paint’s Success
Meet The Team

Owner
Daniel Zeuli
As the current owner of the company, Daniel Zeuli is at the helm of infusing old-fashioned values with modern techniques.
Daniel spent most of his college years painting alongside his grandfather, Tom Zeuli, which provided a rich backdrop for his leadership at the company. His academic pursuits led him to a Business degree from UW-Eau Claire, which he completed in 2024.
Balancing his responsibilities, Daniel played for the UW-Eau Claire football team for four years with Joe while growing the business.
In his free time, Daniel indulges in golf, hunting, and spending time with his family.

Joe Swanson
Joe Swanson is the first face many of our customers meet—and he makes that first impression count. As a Project Consultant at Zeuli Paint, Joe handles the estimating process with a focus on building trust, understanding each client’s unique goals, and making the experience genuinely enjoyable.
With a degree in business from UW–Eau Claire and a background as an all-conference tight end in the WIAC, Joe combines discipline, confidence, and great communication to guide homeowners through the early stages of their project.
He listens closely, asks the right questions, and tailors each proposal to match the client’s vision, budget, and priorities.
Whether it’s a small refresh or a full exterior transformation, Joe’s friendly, consultative approach helps clients feel informed, excited, and confident moving forward.

Color Consultant
Bernadette Scharpen
Hi, I’m Bernadette!
Choosing the right color can be overwhelming — lighting, tone, and mood all change how it looks in your home. That’s where I come in.
With a background in Interior Design — including teaching for 10 years and working with Gabberts and Dayton Hudson Design Studio — I’ve spent my career helping people create spaces that feel right.
Through The Color Matters LLC, I partner with Zeuli Paint to provide color and design consultations that bring flow, harmony, and warmth to every home. My process starts by listening to your vision and ends with colors that truly fit your space and personality.
Because Zeuli Paint values your experience, projects over $3,000 include a free 90-minute color consultation — paid for by Zeuli Paint.
Let’s color together!

Original Founder
Tom Zeuli
Tom Zeuli, the founder of Zeuli Paint, is now a consultant who occasionally participates in various jobs despite his retirement.
Having painted for the people of Hudson, WI, and its surrounding areas for over 40 years, his work goes beyond the company walls - Tom also served the city of Hudson as the Parks Director before his retirement and has been part of the Hudson Fire Department since 1978.
His deep reservoir of knowledge and his commitment to old-fashioned values have significantly shaped the company's ethos, an influence gratefully acknowledged by his grandson, Daniel.
An avid outdoorsman, Tom doesn't hang up his boots when off-duty; he's an enthusiastic cross-country skier and participates in the Birkebeiner every year. He also fishes and hunts whenever he can.
